Daily Wire host Michael Knowles appeared on Donald Trump Jr.’s “Triggered with Don Jr.” podcast on Monday, where the two discussed the success of Knowles’ <a href="https://mayflowercigars.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Mayflower Cigars</a> and how a positive vision for the future fueled the MAGA movement. 
Both Mayflower and MAGA are celebrating <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/mayflower-cigars-celebrates-monumental-year-of-success" target="_blank" rel="noopener">massive wins</a>. Obviously, the election of Donald J. Trump is the biggest win — for the future of America and the present economy — and Knowles discussed how a decisive Trump campaign strategy was similar to a strategy he uses for Mayflower. 
With Mayflower, “it’s not as though we’re saying ‘don’t give your money to woke cigar companies.’ You know, there aren’t woke cigar companies,” Knowles said. “It’s saying something different. We know this is a good product, a really high-quality product. It’s made with care, it’s artistic, there’s a story here with Mayflower.” 
“So, it’s not just that we’re offering the opportunity to harm another company,” Knowles added. “We’re offering you a positive vision. And I think this is something that MAGA has really done both culturally and in government.”
The Daily Wire host said the MAGA movement has offered more than a roadblock to “woke Democrats.” 
“We’re not merely against something. We’re for something,” Knowles added. “We’re for safe communities. We’re for healthy food. We’re for a strong America.”  
“That’s a big deal,” Trump Jr. responded.

Trump Jr. told Knowles that he’s been hoping to smoke a Mayflower stogie with him and floated the idea of getting together during his father’s inauguration on January 20, 2024. 
“I see you got the cigars there — We still have not had time to actually sit down and have one. We&#8217;re going to have to change that,” Trump Jr. said. “I sort of assumed my schedule was going to open up on November 6. It turns out it’s pretty busy until January 20th, so maybe in D.C. around the inauguration.” 
“That’s a good idea,” Knowles replied. “You’ve had one or two things on your mind, I would say, over the past few weeks, so your cigars are waiting here. They are ready for you. I like the idea. The inauguration is a good time to celebrate.”

Unilever, one of the wokest corporations in the world, apparently isn’t woke enough for Ben &amp; Jerry’s. The ice cream giant is accusing Unilever of censoring pro-Palestinian public statements, a claim that Unilever denies. 
Ben &amp; Jerry’s has long been a company that has pushed far-Left and anti-Israel causes. According to the lawsuit, Unilever is pushing back after Ben &amp; Jerry’s supported the anti-Israel protests on American college campuses, which have called for the U.S. to end its military aid to Israel. 
The Associated Press <a href="https://apnews.com/article/ben-jerrys-ice-cream-gaza-unilever-palestinian-8d3d0a378b3f597de0f41b69ca61f339" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a> earlier this month that the lawsuit accuses Unilever of “threatening to dismantle the company’s independent board, sue board members, intimidate personnel and censor the company ‘from publicly voicing support for peace and refugee rights.’” 
Unilever and Ben &amp; Jerry’s have been at each other’s throats over the past few years. In 2021, Ben &amp; Jerry’s targeted Israel in a boycott, which led to some investors divesting Unilever shares, and then, Ben &amp; Jerry’s sued Unilever for selling its business to a licensee in Israel. That lawsuit was settled in 2022. 
The new allegations suggest that Unilever is worried about Ben &amp; Jerry’s jumping off the deep end and into some extreme leftist causes. That says a lot. In case you forgot: Unilever is the leftist company that brings you Dove — <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/wokest-wash-around-heres-how-dove-has-pushed-woke-nonsense" target="_blank" rel="noopener">the wokest wash around</a> — and Axe, which is now trying to <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/axe-stinks-of-wokeness-fend-off-the-left-with-a-new-scent-from-jeremys-deodorant-instead" target="_blank" rel="noopener">encourage men</a> to forgo macho stereotypes and take on a more progressive version of masculinity instead. The London-based corporation also <a href="https://www.unilever.co.uk/sustainability/equity-diversity-inclusion-at-unilever-uki/lgbtqi/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">supports</a> “Pride events across the UK and Ireland [and] partner with LGBTQI+ charities.”

The first rule of marketing is simple: know your audience. The second apparently needs to be a lot more basic, maybe something like: including the product in the pitch. The British luxury car brand Jaguar has violated both rules egregiously with their new ad spot and brand re-launch.
A colorful and strange commercial began circulating on social media this week and was met with derision almost immediately. The ad includes avant-garde people dressed in vibrant, outlandish outfits. The characters can be seen grabbing sledgehammers, painting over the camera lens, and striking poses as the music plays.
Disjointed phrases such as “create exuberant,” “live vivid,” “delete ordinary,” “break molds,” and “copy nothing” appear on the screen.

Tesla founder Elon Musk responded to the ad by echoing what so many others were saying, writing, “Do you sell cars?”
The official Jaguar X account replied to his question and many others by striking the same vague, cooler-than-thou tone. Some of their responses included, “The story is unfolding. Stay tuned,” “We’re shifting gears, not our purpose,” and “Consider this the first brushstroke.”
Customers were confused and dismayed that Jaguar would move in such a woke direction even as other brands pulled back from this type of advertising. It seemed obvious that no one was auditioning to be the next Bud Light train wreck.
Jaguar, meanwhile, is just days into their brand overhaul and is already facing heaps of criticism.
“Bye Jaguar, it was nice knowing you, to think, you were once the pinnacle of British motor engineering,” one person <a href="https://x.com/DMBritain/status/1858806449301815598" target="_blank" rel="noopener">wrote</a>.
“I’m not sure you all heard, but we aren’t doing that liberal artsy bullsh** anymore. Read the room,” a second person <a href="https://x.com/WarClandestine/status/1858896224385921278" target="_blank" rel="noopener">agreed</a>.
Another reply said, “Didn’t you get the memo? Woke is dead. (And so is Jaguar, by the look of this turd).”
It’s also quite telling that Jaguar posted a tagline alongside the ad campaign that says “copy nothing.” The truth is, besides looking like a 90s United Colors of Benetton ad, this campaign is like every other woke product launch trying to look edgy. Petitioning to become crowned the wokest of them all is the opposite of unique – it’s tired, it’s played, and it’s especially puzzling now, at a time when so many brands have pulled back their overtly woke messaging as they realize it’s just not working.
Jaguar has a host of problems that a brand re-launch probably can’t fix. But one way to reconnect with their customers is a return to what made the car brand covetable in the first place. It wasn’t androgynous models wielding sledgehammers; it was fast, attractive sports cars. 
Jaguar has already announced plans to phase out all gas-powered cars in favor of electric vehicles by 2025, so maybe the death knell is inevitable. If only they had called Black Jeremy to ask for advice before launching this laughingstock campaign. 
Compare that kaleidoscope of nightmares to Jeremy’s debuting their redesigned 2nd Gen Razor with the “<a href="https://youtu.be/K_2_qgl_fpA" target="_blank" rel="noopener">2nd Greatest Commercial Ever</a>” – a follow-up to 2022’s “<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s92UMJNjPIA&amp;t=4s" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Greatest Commercial Ever</a>.” It’s immediately obvious that Jeremy’s knows their audience and yeah, they even managed to mention an actual product during the ad. Both of these ads have been viewed millions of times and launched <a href="https://www.jeremysrazors.com/products/precision-5-trial-kit-2?selling_plan=3820880085" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Jeremy’s Precision 5 Razor.</a>
The video features Daily Wire’s co-CEO and god-king Jeremy Boreing, Editor Emeritus Ben Shapiro, plus cameos from hosts Matt Walsh, Andrew Klavan, and Michael Knowles, taking aim at modern advertising tropes by introducing a new face for the e-commerce brand: Black Jeremy. 
Played by actor and conservative personality Siaka Massaquoi, Black Jeremy replaces Jeremy Boreing as Daily Wire CEO to secure the purchasing power of liberal, white women at the urging of advertising “experts” giving the Jeremy’s Razors brand a DEI makeover.
Boreing joked on X at the time, “Woke corporations spend all of your money on DEI. We spent it on a better razor (and a blacker Jeremy). Introducing the Second Generation Jeremy’s Razor – radically redesigned so you can shave like a man, not a manifesto.”
The whole commercial is a parody of wokeness, unlike the Jaguar ad, which embarrassingly enough for them, seems to take itself very seriously despite looking like nothing but a joke.

Like Watching A Car Crash: Jaguar’s Disastrous New Ad

There was a time in the not-so-distant past when women’s personal care items were marketed to, and made for, sane adult human females. Sadly, that era has ended, with most of these brands now choosing to kowtow to a progressive left-wing agenda that’s infected society like a virus.
Case in point: Gillette, the brand that owns the popular women’s razor brand Venus, put out an <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UYaY2Kb_PKI" target="_blank" rel="noopener">ad campaign</a> targeting “toxic masculinity.” The commercial took aim at the popular “let boys be boys” phrase and showed a father breaking up kids having a friendly tussle in the backyard.
The women’s razor brand Flamingo is owned by Harry’s, the brand that notoriously sparked the founding of Jeremy’s Razors after they pulled ads from The Daily Wire for their sin of platforming hosts who <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/daily-wire-cofounder-rips-harrys-razors-for-dropping-advertising-over-misalignment-of-values-screw-harrys" target="_blank" rel="noopener">questioned the trans agenda</a>.
In 2022, Flamingo <a href="https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/harrys-x-flamingo-face-body-pride-shave-set#:~:text=The%20aesthetically%20pleasing%20set%20will,loyalty%20among%20socially%20conscious%20consumers" target="_blank" rel="noopener">debuted</a> a limited edition “Face &amp; Body Pride Shave Set” complete with rainbow-colored pride stickers as a way to “reinforce that shaving should not be a gendered activity.” The profits were all <a href="https://www.harrys.com/en/us/products/face-and-body-shave-set">donated</a> to The Trevor Project, a popular LGBT nonprofit.
The same year, Harry’s and Flamingo <a href="https://cosmeticsbusiness.com/harry-s-and-flamingo-partner-on-hair-is-hair-pride-campaign--201407#:~:text=Flamingo%20Face%20&amp;%20Body%20Pride%20Shave%20Set%2C,Trevor%20Project%2C%20a%20non%2Dprofit%20for%20LGBTQ%20youth" target="_blank" rel="noopener">launched</a> the “Hair is Hair” pride campaign, which included “intimate” black and white photos “celebrating people’s right to express themselves beyond the binary.”
Trans-identified photographer Lia Clay Miller captured various body parts “that people shave” and exclusively photographed LGBT models with various body types for the collection, which appeared on kiosks and billboards in New York City that summer. 
It only gets wilder from there.
In June of this year, Flamingo shared a clip from Rachel E. Gross, a journalist and author of the book “Vagina Obscura: An Anatomical Voyage.” The <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/C8X1qV1uQFO/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Instagram post</a> highlighted Gross claiming that estrogen and testosterone are not inherently masculine and feminine since both hormones are found in both sexes. 
“One thing I really try to do in my work and in my book is to unmask some of those assumptions like for hormones, for example. At one point, science decided that estrogen was the female hormone and that testosterone was the male hormone,” Gross said during the podcast interview. 
“Estrogen literally comes from ‘oestrus,’ which means, like, a frenzy as if induced by a fly. Feminist scholars have really unmasked these myths, and shown that these hormones actually have, like, body-wide effects, and that they’re necessary in all bodies. And, like, you can’t just assign them a gender. That’s absolutely absurd.”
Per Merriam-Webster, “<a href="https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/estrus" target="_blank" rel="noopener">estrus</a>,” means “a period of sexual receptivity in female mammals when they are able to conceive and will accept a male.”
Gillette and Harry’s are the most well-known of the woke brands, but the most aggressively progressive is Billie Razors. The brand advertises itself as being “proudly pro-body hair” despite hawking hair removal tools.
To celebrate “No Shave November” in 2019, the brains behind Billie recommended that their customers grow out their mustaches to prove they had them. 
“Our hair has a very important announcement to make. Women have mustaches too. The world may not know this because we go through a lot to hide them. We’ve been hiding them all our lives,” the women in the promotional video <a href="https://wpubeacon.com/8095/news/billie-the-first-womens-razor-company-to-promote-body-hair/#:~:text=The%20company%27s%20website%20explains%20that%20%60%60women%27s%20razor,body%20hair%20is%20up%20to%20only%20us" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a>. “News flash, we’ve got them. So this November we’re growing them out and joining in because a stache is a stache and we shouldn’t let our perfectly good ones go to waste.”
Their about section advertises Billie Razors as having a mission, “to champion the whole spectrum of womankind. We want to undo the unfair social pressures women face, starting with double standards around shaving and bodycare, and celebrate the infinite ways women can look, feel, and be in the world.” 
They have “zero-tolerance for racism and systemic oppression” and further “ask that our employees, partners and yes, even our customers, uphold these values as well.”
Billie faced some backlash online from customers who swear the product has changed for the worse since it was introduced, which a spokesperson for the brand <a href="https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/stephaniemcneal/influencers-turning-on-the-billie-razor" target="_blank" rel="noopener">denied when asked</a> about it. Maybe it has something to do with the challenge of promoting body hair and trying to sell razors at the same time?

I’ve seen a lot of brands launched, and to see the first 24 hours from a year ago was insane,” Bappert said. “And Michael and everyone at The Daily Wire, I applaud them for what they did there. The Oliva CEO added that Mayflower Cigars’ launch was “very unconventional,” adding that the brand “may have broken the mold with this one.” 
Alex Svenson — the Procurement and Special Projects Chief at BrandShopper, an outdoor sports and cigars e-commerce platform — has been in the cigar business for over 20 years. He said that Knowles’ knowledge of cigars impressed him. 
“Michael had a very intimate knowledge of the process of how cigars are made. He had a very specific idea of what he wanted,” Svenson said. “He’s got a great palate.” 
“It became apparent really quickly when I met Michael that this dude really knows his stuff,” he added. Svenson said that Knowles has continued to take a hands-on role with Mayflower Cigars. “Almost to the point of being a pain in my ass,” he quipped. 
Knowles said he’s “had this brand in the back of my mind for about 15 years.” 
“I even pitched it to Daily Wire five or six years ago,” he added. “The best part, unusual in these types of things, is that the company came together precisely as I hoped it would. Everything from the branding to the distribution to, of course, the blends, have not only met but exceeded the wildest expectations I had for them. The whole process has been an absolute delight.”

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy <a href="https://x.com/ZelenskyyUa/status/1854073411904938032" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a> he appreciated Trump’s ‘peace through strength’ approach to governing and claimed he looked forward to “personally congratulating” the new president.
Even more inspiring was the reaction from young patriots across the country, electing to “Fire” Kamala Harris and emulate Trump’s signature dance.

Conservatives know that Biden’s “garbage” comment is just par for the course for the Democratic Party. In recent weeks, Trump and his supporters have been compared to Nazis and fascists. And Democrats appear to be completely fine with those designations for around half the country. 
Here’s what Kamala Harris’ running mate Tim Walz said when he was asked if labeling Trump supporters as “garbage” and “Nazis” undercuts the Harris campaign’s “closing message of unity”: 
“Certainly not. And for me, I&#8217;ve represented rural areas, I&#8217;ve represented Democrats, Republicans, independents, same thing with the vice president. Look, you saw a presidential speech last night at the ellipse that is the best of America. One that&#8217;s talking about unifying us, one that&#8217;s talking about bringing folks to the table, one that the American tradition of disagreeing and debating, but still doing it in a respectful manner. I think the frustration we&#8217;ve seen since January 6th, the frustration with Donald Trump&#8217;s rhetoric of division, it does fire passions.”

&#8220;At Bath &amp; Body Works, we are committed to listening to our teams and customers, and committed to fixing any mistakes we make—even those that are unintentional like this one,&#8221; the company said in an emailed <a href="https://www.nbcnews.com/news/nbcblk/bath-body-works-apologizes-candle-kkk-hood-rcna175067" target="_blank" rel="noopener">statement</a> to NBC News and other outlets. &#8220;We apologize to anyone we’ve offended and are swiftly working to have this item removed and are evaluating our process going forward.&#8221;
Despite all the focus on DEI and its “<a href="https://www.bathandbodyworks.com/m/our-fight-against-racism-and-inequality.html?srsltid=AfmBOoot3krsfxARTbORCRhzeMOkoXM06nvCLLVqbSmEMvUp4jR-mfQP" target="_blank" rel="noopener">commitment</a>” to “fighting for social justice,” Bath &amp; Body Works still found a way to offend people. Maybe dedicating more time to delivering a quality product would have saved them from this embarrassment, but woke companies will be woke companies.

Bath & Body Works Apologizes For Selling Candles With Design That Resembled KKK Hoods

A decade ago if you asked a man the manliest thing he could smell like, no doubt he would say gunpowder and whiskey with a hint of cigar. But a close second would be Axe deodorant, a popular brand known for marketing to men with hilariously accurate ad campaigns. 
These over-the-top ads were filled with rugged men, gorgeous women, and the underlying message that smelling good was a component of true masculinity. However, like most other things in life, Axe has since been neutered and reborn with weaker, lamer messaging in service of the woke overlords who rule society. 
Take this line from Axe’s website for example. “What do we mean by awesome? Well, we create relevant and unexpected fragrances that rewrite the rules of traditional masculine scents.” 
This type of talk isn’t anything new from Axe. In 2017, the brand <a href="https://mashable.com/article/axe-ad-toxic-masculinity?test_uuid=01iI2GpryXngy77uIpA3Y4B&amp;test_variant=b" target="_blank" rel="noopener">launched</a> the &#8220;Is It OK for Guys?&#8221; promo as part of Axe&#8217;s &#8220;Find Your Magic&#8221; campaign. The overall messaging encouraged men to forgo macho stereotypes and take on a more enlightened version of masculinity instead.

&#8220;What we wanted to do is show &#8230; that there is this habit of guys going online in the privacy of their own home asking all these questions,&#8221; Rik Strubel, then-global vice president for Axe, said of the campaign. Their mission was to “redefine what it means to be a man.”
Stubel <a href="https://www.dailydot.com/irl/axe-toxic-masculinity/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a> in another statement, “As a global lifestyle brand, we see it as our responsibility to use our platform and reach to help drive positive change and champion good,” Strubel said. “In fact, consumers today actually demand that, and as society changes, we’re committed to leading a celebration of a more modern and inclusive view of masculinity. We realize this means tackling very tough issues, including toxic masculinity.
“By championing individuality, self-acceptance, and self-expression,” he continued, “we want to encourage guys to be what they want, dress how they want, love who they want and live more freely … If we can shift this paradigm, we can help break the cycle of toxic masculinity and create a healthier, more equal world for both men and women.”
Apparently, Axe thinks guys want a deodorant that overhauls traditional masculinity. That just stinks. 
This should come as no surprise since Axe falls under the Unilever umbrella, the leftist company that sells you Dove — <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/wokest-wash-around-heres-how-dove-has-pushed-woke-nonsense" target="_blank" rel="noopener">the wokest wash around</a>. Former CEO Alan Jope said in 2021, “The two biggest threats that the world currently faces are climate change and social inequality. The past year has undoubtedly widened the social divide, and decisive and collective action is needed to build a society that helps to improve livelihoods, embraces diversity, nurtures talent, and offers opportunities for everyone.”

This promo specifically targeted Gen Z and their “anything goes” mentality in an effort to “resonate with this generation of men who are notoriously open-minded when it comes to attraction,” according to Axe’s press release.
But what about men who just want to smell manly and attract beautiful women? What about men who don’t want their deodorant brand to redefine masculinity? 
For them, the answer is clear: it’s Jeremy’s all the way.
